Precision welder — Saint Joseph County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Saint Joseph County, Indiana. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection The role involves control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run.
