Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment presser in Hancock County, Maine. The job is in a garment export house. The role involves: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
