EHS coordinator — Transylvania County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an EHS coordinator in Transylvania County, North Carolina. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. Requirements: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Day-to-day duties: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height 2+ years on the tools preferred.
