Vacancy available: we are hiring a power float operator in Grant County, West Virginia. The job is in a residential housing project. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet You will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
