Shuttering fixer — Ikole

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Ikole, Ekiti State. You will be based on a bridge and flyover project. Day-to-day duties: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb Requirements: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
