We are recruiting: we are hiring a steam press operator in Clark County, Arkansas. Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings On the job you will handle: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
