Precision welder — Randolph County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Randolph County, Georgia. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Day-to-day duties: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
