LGV Class 1 driver • Wise County, Virginia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Wise County, Virginia. You will work in a refrigerated transport fleet. Ideal candidate: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Day to day you will present documents at weighbridges and check posts; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends.
