Powder coating operator — Vilas County

Join our team: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Vilas County, Wisconsin. On the job you will handle: • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits.
