Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Teller County, Colorado. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. On the job you will handle: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Six days a week, one day off.
