Join our team: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Otsego County, Michigan. You should have: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Your main tasks: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
