Fabricator-welder — Morgan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Morgan County, Georgia. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
