We are recruiting: we are hiring a cook in Shropshire, England. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. The role involves: • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets Six days a week, one day off.
