Groundskeeper — Johnson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Johnson County, Nebraska. You will work on the grounds of a hotel resort. Requirements: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance The role involves: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
