Toolroom milling operator — Pender County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Pender County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
