Track-type tractor operator — Surry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Surry County, North Carolina. The job is at a busy earthworks site. The role involves rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; refuel the machine and record running hours; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving. Requirements: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes 3+ years on the tools preferred.
