Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines On a typical shift you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
