Pipe tig welder — Brass

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Brass, Bayelsa State. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day to day you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
