Vacancy available: insulation installer (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an insulation installer in City of Richmond, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing Your main tasks: • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
