Join our team: backhoe operator (California)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a backhoe operator in City and County of San Francisco, California. The job is in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Day to day you will strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient. You should have: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
