Vacancy available: VMC operator (Wisconsin)

Join our team: we are hiring a VMC operator in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. You will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
