Now hiring: structural MIG welder (Wales)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Wrexham, Wales. You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding On the job you will handle: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
