Now hiring: we are hiring a general labourer in Gordon County, Georgia. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. Day to day you will hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel. Ideal candidate: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Physically fit and comfortable working at height We offer $16 per hour plus benefits.
