Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Nemaha County, Kansas. You will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 3+ years on the tools preferred.
