Gas commissioning technician — Roane County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Roane County, Tennessee. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. Day to day you will purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation. Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Able to read isometric and site drawings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off.
