Join our team: foundry labourer (Tennessee)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Decatur County, Tennessee. The job is at a busy iron foundry. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding You will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience.
