Formwork carpenter • Jefferson Parish, Louisiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Day-to-day duties: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints Rotating shifts.
