Kitchen porter — Pepin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Pepin County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred Day-to-day duties: • Restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures • Sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature • Scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading • Load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
