Press operator — Oglethorpe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press operator in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. The job is at an auto components factory. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Day-to-day duties: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
