Groundskeeper — Opobo/Nkoro

Now hiring: we are hiring a groundskeeper in Opobo/Nkoro, Rivers State. You will work in a public park. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules On a typical shift you will spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. ₦135,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
