Vertical milling machine operator — Grant County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Grant County, West Virginia. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. Ideal candidate: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Part-time with flexible hours.
