Concrete pump mate • Highland County, Ohio

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Highland County, Ohio. You will work on a road and bridge project. The role involves float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
