You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding On a typical shift you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator.
