Ideal candidate: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines Day to day you will mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles.
