Now hiring: earthmoving plant operator (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Grimes County, Texas. You will be based at a road-building project. Day to day you will excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; stockpile and spread material to the required levels. You should have: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
