Vacancy available: precision welder (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Gloucester County, Virginia. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
