Tailor machinist — Traverse County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Traverse County, Minnesota. Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus On a typical shift you will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance.
