Great opportunity: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Newton County, Texas. You will be based at a busy building site. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges The role involves install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
