VMC operator — Lamoille County

Join our team: we are hiring a VMC operator in Lamoille County, Vermont. The job is in a CNC machining unit. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Your main tasks: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
