Falsework carpenter — Hardin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Hardin County, Illinois. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. What we are looking for: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork On the job you will handle: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
