Urgent requirement: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Medway, England. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. On the job you will handle: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to read formwork and structural drawings We offer £2,650 per month plus benefits.
