Requirements: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence Day-to-day duties: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear Part-time with flexible hours.
