Tailor machinist — Coweta County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Coweta County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line 1+ years on the tools preferred.
