Mining dozer operator — Borough of Torbay

What we are looking for: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence The role involves: • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels Rotating shifts.
