Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana. Day-to-day duties: • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges 3+ years on the tools preferred.
