Automotive refinish painter — Reading

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Reading, England. The job is in a spray booth. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Day-to-day duties: • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. £2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
