Precision welder — Lyon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Lyon County, Kentucky. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $27 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
