Formwork joiner — Van Buren County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Van Buren County, Michigan. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. You will read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints. Requirements: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
