Day to day you will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting.
