The role involves conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements.
